Product Overview & Core Architecture

Uplync CRM is a modern, high-performance Customer Relationship Management software built for fast-moving sales organizations, agencies, and enterprise account executives.

📊

Google Sheets Native

Your entire CRM data automatically writes to and syncs from your own Google Drive spreadsheet with dedicated tabs for Leads, Deals, Activities, and Accounts.

📞

Twilio Carrier Voice Calling

Live carrier outbound phone dialer powered by Twilio, featuring real-time call duration timers, call SID tracking, outcome tags, and automatic activity stream sync.

🏢

Multi-Tenant SaaS

Secure tenant isolation allowing multiple client companies to manage their distinct teams, custom quotas, user roles, and private data securely.

02

Quick Start & Customer Onboarding

Getting your organization started takes less than two minutes:

1

Register Your Company Account

Visit the registration view, enter your company name, administrator name, work email, and choose your tier (Starter, Growth, or Enterprise).

2

Complete Optional Google Onboarding

Click "Connect Google Account" to auto-generate a structured CRM sheet in your Google Drive, or paste an existing Google Spreadsheet ID / URL.

3

Start Adding Leads & Managing Deals

Import prospect contacts via CSV or add them manually. Drag and drop deals across the Kanban board to track your pipeline from discovery to won revenue.

03

Google Sheets 2-Way Synchronization Engine

Uplync CRM interfaces directly with Google Sheets. Whenever you connect your Google Account, the platform automatically provisions a multi-tab workbook with structured column headers:

Structured Google Spreadsheet Tabs

1. Tab: Leads

Stores Lead ID, Name, Email, Phone, Company, Status, Deal Value, Source, and Notes.

2. Tab: Deals

Stores Deal ID, Title, Company, Financial Value, Stage, Probability, Expected Close Date, and Owner.

3. Tab: Activities

Stores Activity ID, Type (Call/Email/Meeting), Title, Related Record, Assigned User, Due Date, and Status.

4. Tab: Companies

Stores Account Name, Industry, Annual Revenue, Employee Size, Location, and Open Deals.

04

Leads & Contact Management

Capture, qualify, and convert leads through structured stages:

  • Lead Lifecycle: Move leads across New → Contacted → Qualified → Proposal Sent → Won → Unqualified.
  • CSV Import / Export: Intelligent column auto-mapping allows you to upload spreadsheets containing hundreds of leads instantly.
  • One-Click Conversion: Convert qualified leads directly into active pipeline deals with pre-filled deal values.
05

Deals & Visual Kanban Pipeline

Track your deal pipeline in real-time with responsive drag-and-drop Kanban columns:

Lead Capture Discovery / Qualified Proposal Sent Negotiation Closed Won

Automatic revenue weighting calculates your weighted pipeline forecast based on individual stage probability multipliers.

06

Twilio Carrier Voice & Phone Hub

Uplync CRM integrates directly with Twilio telephony infrastructure to deliver live enterprise carrier calling:

  • Live Carrier Calling: Launch outbound phone calls directly from Leads, Contacts, Pipeline Deals, and the Activities view via Twilio's global voice network.
  • Call Logger Modal: Features live stopwatch duration counter, unique Twilio Call SID tracking, outcome tags (Connected, Meeting Booked, Left Voicemail, Busy, Not Interested), and detailed conversational notes.
  • Automatic Activity Stream: Completed calls automatically sync to the customer's activity feed and Firestore database with carrier metadata.
  • Carrier Configuration: Set your Twilio Account SID, Auth Token, and caller Phone Number in .env or configure dedicated customer lines via Workspace Settings.
07

Corporate IMAP/SMTP & Gmail Inbox Hub

Communicate with prospective clients and enterprise accounts through your preferred corporate mail server:

  • Multi-Account Mailboxes: Connect corporate business email addresses using standard IMAP & SMTP (Hostinger, Namecheap, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or custom mail servers) with SSL/TLS encryption.
  • One-Click Test Connection: Verify host, port, and authentication credentials before sending client communications.
  • Rich Sales Email Composer: Select from pre-configured outreach templates (Follow Up, Discovery Introduction, Contract Delivery) with automatic client name and deal placeholders.
  • Unified Inbox View: View incoming threads, sent campaigns, and synchronize correspondence directly to lead timelines.
08

Google Calendar & Instant Google Meet

Schedule sales demos, client reviews, and contract negotiations with strictly scoped, least-privilege Google Workspace access:

  • Minimal Privilege Scopes: Uplync CRM strictly requests only spreadsheets and calendar.events. All unnecessary or broad scopes (such as full drive or broad calendar management) are omitted.
  • Instant Google Meet: Generate secured video conferencing rooms and automatically dispatch invitations with meeting links attached.
  • Two-Way Calendar Sync: Synchronize scheduled client calls and deadlines across your Google Calendar and CRM timeline.
09

Multi-Tenant Governance & Super Admin Controls

Super Administrators have complete global authority over customer accounts, tenant security, and onboarding policies:

Instant Activation vs. Manual Gatekeeper Toggle whether new customer registrations activate instantly (default) or require Super Admin one-click approval in the Pending Queue before gaining platform access.
Customer Workspace Impersonation Super Admins can securely inspect customer workspaces in read/diagnostic mode with a single click and return to global management seamlessly.
Tenant Data Isolation Each customer's leads, deals, team chat channels, and activity logs are strictly partitioned in Cloud Firestore with zero cross-tenant leakage.
24-Hour Automated Session Expiry Enterprise security enforcement automatically invalidates sessions after 24 hours to prevent stale authenticated tokens on client devices.

Troubleshooting & Google OAuth FAQs

Q: Why do I see Google Error 403 "access_denied" or "app is being tested"?

In Google Cloud Console, newly registered OAuth applications start in "Testing" mode by default. Google limits authorization only to pre-registered tester emails until published.

Resolution steps:

  1. Go to Google Cloud Console → OAuth consent screen.
  2. Verified Scopes: Notice that only spreadsheets and calendar.events are requested (least privilege).
  3. Add Test User: Under Test users, click + ADD USERS and add your Google email address.
  4. Publish App: Under Publishing status, click PUBLISH APPPush to Production for unrestricted customer sign-in.

Q: How does Twilio Calling work if I don't have Twilio credentials yet?

Uplync CRM includes a carrier simulation engine that allows your sales team to experience the complete call logging workflow, stopwatch timer, and activity feed immediately. Once you provide your TWILIO_ACCOUNT_SID and TWILIO_AUTH_TOKEN in your environment or workspace settings, calls transition to live carrier dispatch.

Q: How do I export my files for Hostinger or cloud hosting?

All static documentation pages (privacy-policy.html, terms-of-service.html, user-guide.html) and the built application in /dist/ can be deployed directly to your Hostinger public_html/ directory or cloud container.
